Yupp, there are some flaws. First of all, the quality settings (see lower border of plugin window) miss completely. That means, at the moment all parameters update with a grain of 64 samples with no interpolation. There is no "oversampling" to prevent aliasing from the waveshapers and filters. Even worse, stirring knobs, automation and receiving MIDI (except Notes played) comes in a granularity of up to many hundred samples, depending on host software. All this will come along with the optimization and speed improvements when the final archtecture/design is set in stone. This will hopefully be in March 2003. Furthermore, LFO speed modulation doesn't work. - I'll fix that along with the possibility to sync LFOs to song. Dooh, and LFOs always reset on new notes. Expect the LFOs to be improved soon. Oh, and someone still mentioned crashes with the old version that could not be traced until now. However, Zoyd runs stable on all other systems... Yeah, and then, there's some strange "click" sometimes when you play a note while the old one is still heard. I tried my best for now. Improve it asap. |
